Vivekananda Institute of Indian Studies not only provides introduction to Philosophy, Literature, art and architecture of India to many western students, but also has an elaborate plan to familiarize the cultural heritage of our country to our own youth. In this perspective, ‘Chaitrotsava’ was organised on the Paurnimasya day, 30th March 2010. ‘Vasantotsava’ , the second in the series was organized for two days on 29th and 30th April 2010. The festival focussed on the ‘Mysore Parampare’, or Heritage of Mysore .
